Every piece in the OnyxPearls shop was chosen by hand. Not pulled from a mass-market catalog, not bought by the pallet. We look for work that changes how a room feels, then we make sure there's something in that spirit at every budget, because this shouldn't only be for people with designer money.
Something for everyone
The collection runs from small prints under $25 to multi-panel statement pieces over $1,500. That range is on purpose. A first apartment and a finished home both deserve a wall that says something, and you shouldn't have to choose between meaning and rent.
Who makes it
We work with independent studios and makers, not big-box suppliers: print studios in the US, metalworkers in Turkey, and individual artists selling their own work. When a maker tells us where a piece is made, who the artist is, or that it's painted by hand, you'll find it in that piece's details.
Why some pieces cost more
Two pieces can look similar on a screen and be very different objects on a wall. Price usually comes down to four things:
Size
Our largest pieces span several feet and come in multiple panels. More material, more printing, more careful packing and shipping.
Material
Tempered glass, brushed aluminum and laser-cut steel cost more to make than a paper print, and they're heavier, sturdier objects to ship and hang.
Handwork
Some pieces are painted by hand, and some get hand-stretched canvas or hand-applied varnish. Hours of a person's time are part of the price.
The artist
Many pieces are the work of named artists rather than anonymous stock designs, and the artist's name is right there in the listing.
What we promise
Every listing tells you what the piece is actually made of, the sizes it comes in, and, when the maker tells us, who made it and where. If we can't verify something, we don't claim it.
